AccreditationREAD Foundation is registered with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as a not-for-profit organization under Companies Ordinance,1984. It also has Tax Exemption Status from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). READ has also been certified by Pakistan Center for Philanthropy(PCP) based on three key parameters: Good Governance, Financial Management and Program Delivery. For receiving foreign funding, The Foundation is formally authorized by Ministry of Interior Government of Pakistan. What does READ do?Education, no doubt, is the main theme READ is working on. But the word “Education” brings along a wide scope with it. Education serves as a mean as well as an end to a meaningful life: mean, because it enables an individual to become a better citizen and an end for it increases one's awareness on a range of issues. Academic excellence doesn’t only mean passing grades from one to ten. But it also incorporates multi-dimensional syllabi, thought provoking contents, motivational & energizing training sessions and seminars which could promote tolerance, peace, child rights, civic education and above all ethical values. READ is moving along keeping in mind all these aspects of quality education. READ manages different programs & projects throughout the year, related to education.
